Recreational Classes
Cheer Squad
Cheer SquadCheer Squad is for pupils ages 6 and up. This class meets once a week for an hour. In addition to learning cheers and chants for select basketball and football games, students have opportunities to perform at community events like the 4th of July and the Forest Festival. When you purchase the uniform package, you'll also get a bow and pompoms.
Cheerleading builds confidence and encourages kids
Cheerleading is so much more than waving pompoms. It involves intense focus and balance.
Tumbling
Your child can also join a tumbling class. There are classes available for beginners and advanced tumblers.
Beginner classes teach:
- Handstands
- Cartwheels
- Roundoffs
- Bridge kickovers
- Prep drills for back handsprings
Advanced classes work on:
- Back handsprings
- Back tucks
- Layouts
- Full twists
